Good to see him sticking to his guns, he knows this is bigger than him.
Try not looking past the context just so you can keep that agenda in your mind going.
Niggas itt talking bout the crowd not being hype like this isn’t Oklahoma City
i get artistic expression but that doesn’t mean artists are then free from critique. you really think because he had “good intentions” that means he can say whatever. niggas can push back especially if they’re part of the group he addressing.
Definitely understand Kendrick's sentiment, and I'm sure there is no harmful intentions with that bit on the track. Just honesty and transparency. But I think it's corny the lengths Kendrick stans go to say it's okay and he did nothing wrong when it's people apart of the LGBTQ who are saying it was wack, and saying it at all of his shows is a weird look.
No matter what it's always corny for people who don't belong to certain group to tell people who are in that group that they aren't allowed to be offended by a slur and how it was used.

imagine being in the middle of all-white crowd as their cracked teared-up voices all sing the very last line of the song putting their soul into it
imagine being in the middle of all-white crowd as their cracked teared-up voices all sing the very last line of the song putting their soul into it
all that after 15 f-words thrown up at the top of their lungs

Ktt became so soft. It’s a f***ing song. Art is a way to address things in our society and spark up conversations to lead for a better tomorrow.
Yall some stupid weirdos fr.
Drake fans in here hating like they aren’t gonna be standing in awkward silence in arenas around the world soon as Aubrey tries and fails to hit those robot o***** notes at the end of Falling Back.

White people say nigga at concerts all the time what’s the difference
& one has a lot more baggage than the other if we want to be real

i mean it coulda been worse but that doesn’t mean it’s right. the critiques aren’t even that wild it’s just that he could have addressed the issue with more care. also people who then use a trans person who say kendrick did a good job are funny cos they act like that person is the sole representative of the trans community.

Gonna be screaming it with Papi
Gonna be screaming it with Papi
“Screaming” ain’t really the right word.
It’s more of a guttural droning noise you weirdos are gonna be making.
Somewhere Morgan Wallen is smiling because he knows his work here is done.
Briefly worked at a venue that was set to host a sold-out Morgan Wallen concert. So glad I quit before having to be surrounded by 20,000 white people who for sure all say the n-word, and I’m not talking about just at a Kendrick show.

It definitely could've been worse. Like it's nothing in comparison to J Cole's dumbass s*** on Villuminati and how he attempted to justify that. At the very least Kendrick handled it with much more care than that
There's definitely gonna be a white rapper at some point who's gonna chant "nlgger nlgger nlgger" in a song and how that's what he used to do on Xbox Live when he was young and didn't know better.
Give it some time.

kendrick at least cares about the family member he talking about cole has had to issue press releases towards autistic and gay people
Sample flip of Through the Fire and Flames hard no lie
Kendrick saying the f-word on the song didn't make sense to me but people said it was done to show his growth. Alright, I see what you mean.
But performing it live and giving the crowd the opportunity to scream that word while singing along is a disgusting decision by Kendrick
Stfu cracker.
