CampariThe crazy part about DAMN for me is how I still listen to the leak version, I believe it came out a day or two before release and I love it so much more than the official.
The biggest difference being on “LOVE.” It doesn’t have that intro, those consistent and annoying kicks & the guy saying “another world premiere!”.
I can’t remember any other changes off the top of my head but I’ve always had the leaked version on my iTunes.
On DUCKWORTH he says, "God is one funny motherfucker"

Yes I was so dissapointed when he changed it. It was more "in your face" and to be honest when I firdt heard it, it jumped out to me.

the album seems to be more about the nature of life than the nature of god so Im fine with the change tbh

Damn, that's a scary thought right there.
All his albums up to DAMN. were stuff he was planning already for years, you go back and watch interviews he talks about the s*** he did on those albums prior to them coming out
He also had to play the game to get to the point he's at right now, now he's at a point in his career where he can do whatever he wants to do, also the PgLang thing is all about artistry and freedom to creators, you can see that he's trying to take his vision to the next level
Prayer is literally the most creative song he's written, he gotta be in a different zone for this album

feel like with him experimenting with other genres but still maintaining his rap esthetic he can do it. all comes down to what he has to say in his album. it's been 4 years so theres a lot to talk about
