IMO it might be more important than rapping past a certain point. lotta guys that can pen but cant make songs
Yea that’s just your preference. My 2 fav rappers ever are Wayne and Thug so I prefer rappers just showcasing their skill in any format they can.
If I had a top project list it would have more mixtapes than albums probably

Trash take cause many rappers who blew up in the 2010's can't even write a proper 16 like Cole can.
Cole's only real weaknesses are his album catalog and creativity. He's good in other metrics.
