I see where you’re coming from OP, and I do definitely think that part of Kendrick’s strategy was using the political rhetoric of us vs them, but I still have doubts that this will result in much more than Drake’s run ending, or at least taking a pretty big hit in support.
At the end of the day this beef did put the topic of culture vultures and who is part of hip hop and “belongs” back into conversation, but I think that most people will be reasonable with their conclusions to that.
Basically, I see what you mean, but I am not sure it’s going to result in any problems

Drake alluded that he was going to talk about his woman and Kendrick alluded that he was going to talk about young girls. Kendrick asked him behind the scenes on top of that and not only did Drake do it but he boasted about doing it despite being asked not to on Family Matters. So now the war general has to eat that.

No one knew what Drake meant when he mentioned Whitney's name but anyone who spent more than 2 minutes looking at the lyrics of Euphoria understood what Kendrick meant.
