Pedro Costa, Wang Bing, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Lav Diaz and Amit Dutta are some of the best filmmakers working today and almost nobody outside of film circles has heard of them because their work isn't for normal film going audiences. See what I mean? They won't be famous 75 years from now either.
