also some fans (mainly reddit fans that jumped on the hype during CB) don't appreciate the "monotone/spoken word" style that he's been zeroing in on during this rollout. Claim "he used to dance on the beat" (which I get, I think this tape is gonna be mainly for his day 1s and just give us straight bars to win us over. Similar to Jackman)
I personally love it cause I always felt Chance (when he cares) has a f***ing crazy pen.

One thing I will say is the songs are reall solid and the bars are there but none of them have that Chance energy that was so apparant in Acid Rap and Coloring Book
