Kendrick has some art rap albums that only critics and ultra fans care about. He tried to find a middle ground with big stepper but fell flat. I only recognize mad city and damn as good Kendrick albums tbh.
Is it over for me

INSANE OPINION

Dark Lane way too gassed up compared to the rest of the post 2020 Drake output
I can not agree in good faith with the sentiment of this thread. Kendrick is great, however not the greatest alive. His not consistant enough for that title in my opinion. Drake been killing it for literally 15 years every year with no pause. Jay Z can't even say that! And I am not a huge Drake listener by any means. And for the ones who says Drake has ghost writers, that couldn't even stop him. That info made him even bigger, 😂😂😂😂even bigger than the ppl who leaked it. Trust me, Drake will be ever bigger after this.
consistently dropping doesn't make you the greatest if a lot of what you drop is just okay

I don’t see anyone talk about it. Literally came and went

Big Stepper still way more artsy than commercial even with N95 & Silent Hill being a lil funny. DAMN is him combining the artsyness/concept s*** with commerciality and succeeding imo
