Is getting help on a diss a problem if it's from someone with stakes in the beef?

I bet a lot of rappers get help from other people when writing disses especially with getting dirt

If you’re responding to allegations of having ghostwriters and you respond with a ghostwritten verse then yes.

Getting dirt and having writers is ridiculously different

Personally I think Kendrick meant that he thought drakes tactic on back to backing meek was clever, and that he’s going to use his own move against him

The control verse was a strategic move for Kendrick and merely about the love of hip hop and competition.
I don’t think it was personal personal but it did evolve into having malice toward one another fueled by public opinion:

    No

I heard it before idk what to tell you

The thing is ken and drake were always just 2 different types of people. let alone artists.

Don’t help drake takes a lot of s*** personal (kendrick laughing at his expense when talking bout the dmx rant on the radio, throwing shade on control verse, etc.) and you add in the other person clearly has an overly competitive nature and holds a grudge (drake been tryna repeatedly peace it up with ken for years)

    This was inevitable.

Kendrick always struck me as somebody who stopped giving af about industry politics after gkmc era

I would believe this is Rob Markman didn’t make that video. If he meant that he wouldn’t have jumped out about what he heard. He isn’t that messy.

It wouldn’t make hip hop look bad it would make the niggas that hold him in high regard look bad. They have ignored all these references in the sake of Drake being a hit makers and selling records.

Kendrick already stated he doesn’t hold Drake in the same regard. He said you have no classics.

It would make Hip-hop look bad nigga

You don't like Drake and you already think all his s*** is ghostwritten so you're baised but the average rap listener likes both Drake and Kendrick and think they both have classic projects and are great artists. Niggas would be sick Im telling you

Dude shouldn’t have said s*** until he had concrete proof

Now that the cats out the bag the ovo team will reach out to him with a check to shut the f*** up

If Drake had help with Back to Back, I’m sure he knows Kendrick already has the proof after hearing him say he was gonna get back to it on the next one. If it’s out there, I think this is already a done deal.

Kendrick doesn’t think it will be bad. Stop looking at this through a fans lense.

Kendrick doesn’t rate Drake like you do.

Revealing Drake has ghostwriters isn’t going to hurt hip hop.
