Ah.
Honestly, I’m not sure about how much Drake fans will care if it was ghostwritten, since they don’t care about any of his other works being ghostwritten, but that would be bad for Drake in the context of hip hop in general.
I guess we will see what comes
You’re correct
Modern hip hop fans don’t give a f*** as long as it’s trending on tik tok
Traditionalist hip hop fans are the only ones that care if a rapper pens their own rhymes
No one is getting killed thus far. Friendly fade, even Kendrick has acknowledged it. We’ll see what the next round brings. Both songs did what they needed to do. If anything I’m glad Kendrick responded very directly bc this clears away Ross and Kanye (as much as I love that moron I’m not really interested in his involvement) for what we all want.
Watch try to insert himself one more time just watch...
Nah I agree, I actually think he deserves credit for mentioning ghostwriters in a clever way and attacking his masculinity in a way that hasn’t been done before (sexy redd extended metaphor)
But he ain’t kill him all I’m saying
Nah I agree, we will def hear a response from Drake(and i’m looking forward to it).
I think the culture vulture route kendrick took will leave a mark tho.
The general public don’t care about Drake ghost writing s***
This what I’m talking about with these two taking the easy way out. They mentioning stuff we done already accepted or moved passed from
The real dialogue Kendrick should’ve went in depth with is the my music electrify, yours pacify s***
& Drake should’ve doubled down on Kendrick holier than thou, I speak for the culture attitude
This the s*** that’ll sting cause it’s aiming directly at the ego, I don’t care about Kendrick not selling & Drake not writing his s***. It’s cute but that s*** ain’t going to change any narratives that’s already been set
You don’t care about Drake writing his own diss songs? Then what’s the point of even responding and doing all of this? lmao
Why hasn't Drake responded yet?
Is he scared?
Last beat on euphoria is actual crack
I liked the second one best
The 3 beat thing was dope though
Is he scared?
he h****
How is it triggered saying azalea takes are trash lol you weird michael this was 7 hours ago you looked for it
Did you think a thought?
Triggered!!
You don’t care about Drake writing his own diss songs? Then what’s the point of even responding and doing all of this? lmao
The point is for him to remain relevant in the public eye and keep dropping projects to obtain money
he h****

Real maple syrup 🤤
Why hasn't Drake responded yet?
Sun Tzu. When you’re enemy is making mistakes, don’t interrupt them.
I remember syrup sandwiches
yoooooooo
Nah. Listen to Lupe picking apart Royce's entire career and place in the industry in 6 minutes compared to Dot trying his best to bring up everything that's been said about Drake on reddit for the past 10 years in 6 minutes... it's not even close. Drake and Dot are still going. Royce never recovered from this, the moment it dropped the fight was over. Seriously give it a listen. This is the blueprint on how classic knockout disses are executed. Kendrick and Euphoria are good but Lupe a different writer
Lupe went crazy on this
But ngl I think Euphoria was more scathing and funny, nothing on SLR matching Kendrick’s YNW Melly line imo
Yeat wrote FATD the whole industry knows just doesn’t speak on it
Avi disappearing in 3, 2
Drake not writing back to back will absolutely sting
Drake not writing back to back isn’t a nuke tho
It’s not as interesting of a conversation as what they really could be diving into about each other like their whole stance in the culture which they kind of been playing around with but there’s a lot that can be said that can create some real dialogue
Real maple syrup 🤤
brother in law is from canada i can agree fully
Yeah; I feel like Drake’s numbers/career will never be seriously tarnished by this.
His core audience doesn’t even care about hip hop like that.
I think worst case scenario for Drake is his reputation takes a blow and he is less respected by those more invested in hip hop.
The Respect angle would be the most effective because when it comes to numbers and hit songs, it's not even close. People forget that Drake has ALWAYS been a student of the game and he does value his place in hip hop. Yes he's got fans wio only listen to him not rap, and that's what comes with the territory of his stardom, but he still values the respect that comes with rapping at a high level.
Bro came up listening to Little Brother and Clipse ffs
