Legacy touring artists are ones that can sell out any arena in the country regardless of their new album. S*** like Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. The only rappers to ever reach that level are Jay, Ye, Drake, and Kendrick

The general rap community has gotten a lot of things wrong and been closed minded over the years, even though hip hop itself has been one of the more cutting edge genres this century. Sometimes it takes listeners a while to catch up.

Personally, I prefer the three albums before it, because I find Morale to be one of his least impactful albums in terms of production. DAMN sounded focused and top shelf in terms of its moody, melancholy approach to pop rap and I loved that. Morale is a little scatterbrained in comparison.

But I think, in terms of its lyrical content, Morale has more to offer than anything he's put out besides GKMC and TPAB and it will have a unique legacy in terms of soul-baring, vulnerable lyricism. A lot of people treasure that record. It's just not an easy sell.
