The funniest part about this whole discourse is people thinking that rap is only competitive when niggas are beefing with one another. Drake/Cole remaining as active as they've been IS competition. Kendrick going on the back of a milk carton is him actively choosing to not throw his hat in the ring and compete is him running away from that competition.

This is the same dumb narrative Kendrick tried to spin about why he did the Control verse like 2013 wasn't one of the most competitive years ever in terms of rap releases.
