Why people in here acting like Drake wasn’t ducking Kendrick all of 2013-2015
It’s not all about numbers … just because his album isn’t on billboard and it didn’t have a #1 doesn’t mean a thing. It doesn’t mean he’s washed, unpopular or anything of the like
It’s a f***ing album about therapy.
Really hate this culture of comparing numbers to determine whether an artist is better or not
You'd think anyone with common sense would listen to Mr. Morale and understand why an album like that would never be popular. But no, instead it means the album had "no impact".
These same people would argue with you that Honestly, Nevermind had impact, go figure
The final total will, so the numbers will be even bigger. Also 21 is still a bigger draw of a co-headliner than Baby Keem is
Yes obviously the final numbers will, just saying the 50 shows the tweet is talking about is not including J Cole so its not a valid point.
No one is going to these shows for the co-headliner (before Cole at least)
They were going to see Kendrick or Drake
"i waited 4 days nigga where yall at" ageing like milk

The discussion on the last few pages was about impact. I didn't bring up numbers out of my ass. I love the album I'm just being objective. This one song dissing Drake is bigger than any moment from MMBS. Take it up with the facts but don't shoot the messenger.
I never mentioned who was better because that's opinionated and pointless when discussing numbers

Ducking Kendrick really showed the world what he was worth..
I wonder why y'all didn't make this much noise when MMATBS dropped. Or when The Hillbillies dropped. Or when that American Has a Problem remix dropped 🤔.
And the next time Kendrick raps and isn't going at niggas, the moment better be this big.

The co-headliner still brings additional audience though
Streets are saying that Drake reached out to Kendrick to get him on FPS but they fell out for reasons that ain't clear.
Apparently Drake sent the record breakdown, his ideas for it and the beat then Kendrick agreed but then refused to send his verse in until whenever Drake had done his and shared it with Kendrick whenever that would be in the album creation process.
Then they fell out for whatever reason and rest is history. Cole had already recorded his hence the "we the big 3 like we started a league" but had to alter it after slightly
this is the best fanfic post in this entire thread lol

2015, dissed him and shot the video in compton
try again

Tbh I think Drake just saw where music was already heading and got ahead of the curb but dance-esque hip-hop has gotten decently big since that album
The co-headliner still brings additional audience though
Cmon lets be real, not one person went to Its All A Blur because 21 was a part of it

Kendrick remixed Sticky I'm sure he'd tell you Honestly Nevermind had impact but believe what you want. Hillbillies on repeat over here
Cmon lets be real, not one person went to Its All A Blur because 21 was a part of it
I'm sure you interviewed all 800K people who bought a ticket to come to this conclusion
