Drake out there making long ass albums to manipulate the streaming charts, but its not enough to manipulate critics and people that know music

You can't manipulate a stream (besides farms, that's another story)

People either stream it or don't

Ask the millions of artists on DSPs hoping their s*** gets streamed

Kendrick is being commercially successful and MASSIVELY acclaimed

Drake is being commercially successful and massively shamed for the poor quality of his music

Okay, you're just wrong. Like there's no other argument besides you're just wrong. TPAB is one of the most loved albums ever released

Go ask 100 random people off the street and see. Have them rank their favorite Kendrick albums

Cuz your argument is literally that he hops onto other artists "waves" which usually means difft genres for ppl who don't exclusively speak in twitter.. second he doesn't hop on s*** ppl including future literally beg him to be on his songs lolll

Genres is irrelevant to any of this. And it’s really a yes or no question.

are people unironically using the billboard = quality argument in here lmao

i hope y’all remember this the next time these stans sit in your face and act like they agree with the whole “high sales/chart position doesn’t mean the music is good” thing

Drake has been making overly long projects since 2006

it's probably a world record that the same people giving drake points for his billboard charts are also admitting his music is s***

Nah his last one is TPAB

Not having a classic in almost 10 years is pretty crazy.

so if everyone plays and listen to album is bad (of course people love playing music they consider bad)

but if everyone (that use music rating services) drops that FIVE STAR or 10/10 (soy face) is enough to determine the album is good

If a 10/10 album dropped but bots and jobless stan twitter users aren’t playing it, is it still a classic?

It's like that question if a tree falls but no one heard it fall, did it really fall?

If you drop a classic but no one plays it, is it really a classic?

You said king of rap not king of charts

the charts today is not the same as before, charts positions are calculated by number of streams every week. who's music is being played the most? drake's. he has 8 albums that people still listen on the regular, everytime he drops everyone tunes in and his music is always succesful

what about kendrick? yeah he has gkmc and damn which are classic but all of his other is clearly not being played and his last project not even charting less than 2 years from being released is weak for the king of rap
