It’s kinda sad to me how people decided to react to an album by a black man (when most of them aren’t black) exploring his traumas. Meanwhile, they’ll literally hype a dude (that doesn’t look like most of them, mind you) that has been talking about the same topics (toxicity to women, haters, being at the top, places they’ve never seen or can’t relate) on every album since 2013 with different sounds behind it.

And I enjoy DLDT, most of CLB and Her Loss and some of FATD, it’s just something I’ve noticed he’s been doing in his music and try to fairly critique. But I never see or hear even an attempt to do that from the other side. It’s always “numbers, auntie is a man, cheated on his wife” type s***

I bet you never said this once when drake gets similar stats lol

it’s a common thing for stats to be recorded for the year SO FAR and then if things pass it that will be reported too, why you acting brand new

Also let’s not even get into how the Beatles and MJ comparisons are BS because they include features and the charts is too different to compare the consumption

But you won’t take issue with that, only this

We need to call out all BS, not just when it’s not benefiting our favorite. Cause I doubt you’re this critical of drake stats

Yeah the worst part of Morale isn’t even the hoe scaring stuff, those failed stream bait attempts all over the album make it feel like he tried too hard

In his mind he was making an album that combined the weight of TPAB with the accessibility of DAMN and he unfortunately failed miserably on the second one

N95, Die Hard, Purple Hearts, and Silent Hill are easily some of the most uninspired material Kendrick has made since he’s been known.

Cut those 4 and We Cry Together and maybe it’s a little better as a 13-14 track album.

Rich Spirit, Count Me Out and Savior could’ve been the singles keep those other reaches

See the thing is Drake’s fans actually admit when he’s wrong or takes an L

I think you can remember TheGreatDivine slandering Honestly Nevermind when it dropped. Zack from the Six admitted when it didn’t sell well. I’ve made fun of several Drake songs I don’t care for.

Meanwhile on the other side, Midrick stans are bleeding heart & fight to the death no matter what it is. If you say you don’t care for a single bar out of a Kendrick song, their a******s bleed in rage as they sob and stomp on their keyboard explaining how it’s the greatest art in human history because it was written by a Pulitzer Prize winner. Such a pathetic bunch.
