For this beef I’ve been a centrist, I love both artists, I’ve liked Drake more overall but that never meant I thought he is a better overall artist. Like I listen to Drake more because that’s music I can put on whenever like if I’m playing video games and s*** (and honestly I like R&B Drake more than rap Drake overall).

But I know and acknowledge that Kendrick is one of the best OAT and he does have some songs I can throw on whenever as well, just not as many if that makes sense.

Kendrick doesn’t make R&B which is partially why I don’t like him as much. I’ve been stuck on the muddy dark R&B sound Abel and OVO pioneered and that’s the s*** I love.

Also I kind of feel like I’ve been gravitating away from rap as a whole, not really been into much of the newer talent aside from Keem, Don Toliver, and Grouptherapy.

Game is game Kendrick won. I don’t want any of the allegations to be true on either side. I already haven’t been much of a fan of Drake the person over the last few years but there hasn’t been anything to make me completely cut him off. And I always felt like Kendrick’s been a stand up guy so the wife beater allegations are f***ing terrible too.

But as a person who doesn’t know these people personally, I can also sit back and be entertained by the circus, I just don’t want things to go TOO far if you know what I’m saying.
