alright im back
what’s the current narrative itt
TORONTO ICBM has been wrecking the sheets
song is good but what elevated to #1 is the fact that it’s a Drake (and also J Cole) diss
half man clout chasing like always
are you stupid, they got the #1 and #2 spot confirmed
Scorpion is arguably one of the worst albums put out by an artist of Drake’s popularity ever
i’d genuinely die on this hill lmao
the singles carry that album so hard it’s almost pitiful
alright im back
what’s the current narrative itt
People only listen to Like That because of the Drake diss
And Divine has never once claimed that sales = good music
That’s the narratives right now
Scorpion is arguably one of the worst albums put out by an artist of Drake’s popularity ever
i’d genuinely die on this hill lmao
Scorpion was just way too long
It had some dope tracks
CLB and FATD on the other hand
It's popular because he's going at the most popular rapper on the song, not because the diss is dope. There's way better songs on the album that aren't going #1.
Now once again using your logic for someone elses rebuttal, i’ll say thats a convenient excuse. See how easy that was?
Scorpion is arguably one of the worst albums put out by an artist of Drake’s popularity ever
i’d genuinely die on this hill lmao
It’s sad because CLB is somehow even worse overall
I promise you people are not STILL running back this song because of the diss alone. People seem to genuinely enjoy the song
The song is definitely nice even without Kendrick's verse, but it's disingenuous to act like his verse and the fact that he's going at Drake on said verse isn't why that song is currently the most popular/most consumed song on the album.
I said the same thing when Megan dropped HISS and it went #1, meanwhile, her other singles/features all flopped.
Moral of the story: people love drama. There's been a ton of online discourse about Drake/Kendrick beef since the song dropped and everyday, new content from podcasts/radio shows keeps dropping about it so that's keeping the engagement going. Soon as that fades, so will the popularity of the song. Same thing happened with HISS. Once Nicki stopped responding/fanning the flames of engagement and the hype died down, so did the song. Now, Like That might not die down as quickly because it's actually a decent song outside of the diss, but it'll definitely reduce a lot in popularity/consumption.
If you constantly bring up numbers, they're going to be used to troll you
RT, not that the other person actually cares, but they'll do it cuz you do lol

every Drake album post IYRTITL has like 3 great songs and like 15 mid ones
Imagine someone asking you what you do for fun and being like "Yah I spend time in KTT2's billboard charts thread"

If you constantly bring up numbers, they're going to be used to troll you
they always have an explanation for anything that doesn’t align with their agenda
that nigga quadra told me Eminem isn’t the GOAT because apparently only racist white people who think “he’s one of the good ones” in hip-hop support him, that’s why he has a diamond album
do u guys remember when cudi talked s*** to Drake on tt then drake responds with this crap
i hope this isn’t the case again…
“ I (k)can drink all buzz I want cause I’m Drake”

There’s no one still listening to this song on Day 6 because of the Drake diss. That initial hype and shock factor died by like Sunday
