Kendrick just wants this out there to show he’s acting like he’s ready for whatever but nothing more will come from him about it. He just wants to get the internet talking about this for the next 48 hours. Like dropping a training video as a boxer except there won’t actually ever be a fight. But he knows blogs will take his side on the hypothetical “what if???” Conversation that will inevitably happen.

Drake will say something slick at a show so it seems like he’s not letting it slide and that he’s just too far above it to really care. Then he’ll continue with some “is that a sub?” Subs in 12+ months. Secretly probably jazzed he’s got Cole in his corner for now putting Kendrick on the peripheral (plus dude just needs an ally).

Cole is going to keep his mouth shut. He’s thrilled because this just gives legitimacy to his claims he’s to be considered with the other two, good album promo, and he’s been rapping the best of the 3 of them for at least a couple years even if the music isn’t as hot.
