I really get irritated when some of y’all do this thing where just talking about the subject becomes a taboo, and you make the person radioactive and suspect for it. Your position on “I think any grown person concerned about minimum age of consent is just weird”. The whole issue is about that, so how can we have an informed discussion surrounding it if we don’t know it?
In the post I replied to you, I arrived at the conclusion that it's less about the law for me and more about morals. My morals are centered around "If someone is a child (so that's 0 to any age with -teen in it) that's a no from me". That's pretty solid, uncomplicated moral-grounding.
The law could say tomorrow: "The national age of consent and consent in all states going forward will be 13 years old". That doesn't suddenly change my moral-grounding.
If you're a grown 30 year old man, why would the age of consent even be a concern for you? Wouldn't you want to be dating people closer to your age and life experience?

it would be a funny line in a beef with lower stakes, i'll give it that. kendrick is at a whole new level of public support now though, he's even more loved than he was during the DAMN. era. the only people still referencing family matters will be salty OVO stans who think drake won the beef.
