Another overlooked aspect of the beef is that Top5 guy turning on drake and when the HP5 dropped, he changed his tune and drake asked for the list of backstabbers....was it a ploy was it serious no one knows but the sentiment was not untrue. There's a disconnect between drake and his own city. Niggas he brought on tour fought together because drake did the bare minimum of just bringing them together, he has no voice in the streets

Kendrick is not necessarily hands on with the new Compton talent, but there's an unspoken understanding, see u at the top. Roddy, Boogie, even YG, there's an understanding. Game is bitter and I perfectly understand but at a point he knew that he couldn't contain kendrick. These two, drake and kendrick, were so different that drake lost the moment he made it personal
