If the label thing is true, thats the first thing that came to my mind. Why arent they doing damage control for kendrick? Even though he clearly handled it well by himself
bc Drake caters to them
he makes more accessible music and if rumor is true, he allows them input in what songs can be on his albums
he probably has more personal relationships with UMG
and on top of that, they are probably more invested in Drake for longer
you probably don't get a $500 million contract without restrictions of some sort
they most likely eat off all his brand collabs as well as DreamCrew / HBO
"Drake has entered into an expansive, multi-faceted deal with the company that encompasses recordings, publishing, merchandise and visual media projects.
Such “expanded portfolios,” as Grainge noted in the call, spanning multiple creative lanes and revenue streams, also include the recently-announced extension and expansion of the Weeknd’s deal with UMG, which aligns him — like Drake — with Republic Records.

They want Kendrick to release a statement saying that Drake isn’t a pedophile

Lmao
It’s actually crazy how bad Drake is at rap beef lol
That’s why he addressed Kanye instead of Push, he can’t hold it down against any real rapper
Just talked to my AT@T guy while he set up my new phone and he brought the beef up
He actually loved family matters the most until not like us
Goes to show that the bangers really stick with most folk
I remember my friend made his first twitter/ instagram and he was asking what he should put as his bio and I told “Rotate the satellites” and he put it because it sounds good
This an insanely funny confession

100% ya
Heroin drake is the only solution to this
There has quite literally never been a time where the chance of this is higher. It may not be a large one, but it is our largest.

2 weeks ago everyone was saying even if Drake loses, this beef wouldn’t harm his career at all
No celebrity has ever been the same after pedo allegations.
Only Michael Drake is not even close to his star power.
i cant wait for the day we find out what everything in the 6:16 picture actually meant
like what a random ass shirt, it cant be as simple as it's just a shirt drake owns, its cheap as s*** first of all
has to be connected to something
I subscribe to the theory that they were all references to Family Matters and the video. The jewelry receipts were receipts for jewelry used in the video, the prescriptions conflicted with Drake’s bars. The theory suggests that the shirt and gloves were worn in the video originally (Drake wearing the shortee shirt as a diss) but they cut it at the last minute after 6:16 artwork dropped - which is why the first half of the video is just a lyric video.

Which poster has spent the longest time in this thread ?
Me probably
If Ye can say f*** the industry I don't think Kendrick will have any problem doing it. What does he have to lose? Lol
I remember my friend made his first twitter/ instagram and he was asking what he should put as his bio and I told “Rotate the satellites” and he put it because it sounds good
I remember when I was in the theater for the TLOP premiere and dudes next to me were like “I seen it on this forum called ‘kanyetothe’”
