Just had a very uncomfortable conversation with my partner about Canadian culture surrounding age of consent and she talked about a lot of her experiences growing up in the GTA (we’re in our early twenties) and I don’t think it’s just Drake, it’s Canadian society in general she was telling me how it’s basically viewed as normal there and how she had those kinds of experiences with older men when she was as young as 13 and she was just casually listing all the sus s*** these niggas would just casually be linking with young girls openly (she specified hood guys and Jamaicans) and she wasn’t justifying it at all but the way you could describe it sounds like she wasn’t able to process why this s*** was wrong because 1. It was considered normal 2. We’re still young so I don’t think she’s really able to process what happened to her despite me explaining.

She told me how there would be men in there 20s and 30s trying to force themselves on her and her friends or “hang out” with her friends were like 13-14 at the time but she’d say they weren’t bad because they never tried to do it to her again because she kept saying no. Again noting that she’s not justifying it just clearly still not able to understand what happened to her. But the most damming is she told me her own friend tried setting her up in a room of grown men however she said they didn’t do anything because she kept screaming and kicked them out. This city needs to be nuked. I’m being completely honest and serious and please can you guys pray for her and just any girl this s*** is happening to.

TLDR: Pedo behavior is normalized in Toronto and it seems to be a bigger issue because these girls are growing up in a environment where it’s considered ok and normalized.

Maybe the stuff drake is doing isn’t certified pedophille stuff but it’s gateway behavior into becoming one does hip hop really want another diddy in their culture I can see that’s where Kendrick is coming from and also being molested at a young age and having a daughter this is a topic that’s he’s passionate about.
