GTA VIKendrick took this beef a lot more seriously than Drake the whole time
Even on Euphoria when he was making jokes u can tell it was for the tone of the song and he was ready to take the gloves off
I feel like sometimes Drake plays up how unbothered he is in case he wants to bow out he can play the “i was never taking this seriously” card
Going back he’s lowkey been preparing for this since poetic justice and highkey after control

John Mauvedespite my banter posts I do like Drake, and even some of his recent songs are hard as hell
but I've always thought he comes as off such a man-child, which was kinda endearing until around Scorpion era and it just got worse. That aspect of his work is gonna age like s*** with time
I liked him too, but ever since 2013, I been calling him a hoe. That year, everything changed for me. He took friendly competition as something sinister. I never really liked him
