Pretty much the only objective measurement of what the general public likes, doesn’t like, cares about, or doesn’t care about
I agree with you on the going to the opposite extreme, but I just think a lot of people give the numbers too much weight just because they are an "objective" statistic. They're too easily manipulated and don't tell the whole story
