LeftsideHe is just human but to me it comes across that he's forcing platitudes and rejecting the outside from all sides
Even with TPAB, which is one of my favorite works of all time because of the collaborative nature of it and soul, I didn't get he wanted to save the world. More like he wanted to be a voice for and to everybody on the cover, it was real LA centric. I'd be lying if I said I thought he wasn't well read, because he wouldn't be able to rap the way he does if not. I'm not sure what's the block I feel in his music but I do hear him trying to figure it out
I hear you fully. It's a good word u used "block" cause to me he's mastered delivery, being able to communicate all he could and making it easy to listen to is his greatest skill. More than anything about him, it was his ambition. We really got a James brown type negro who put it all on the line in his music and I really just appreciate that
