And when that person meant by holding somebody to their own standard is responding to a diss quickly

They love numbers when artists they like put up numbers but they hate that Drake is always the one leading when it comes to numbers in rap so they get angry when his fans celebrate his success. If Kendrick had half the success Drake has, his fans would never shut up about it.
Nothing wrong with posting numbers and wanting to celebrate artist you enjoy success but it’s corny to use numbers as the barometer on whether or not a song or project is quality or to use in comparison of what artist is better artistry wise. Especially when we are savvy enough to know these numbers can be manipulated.

What standard? There are users who like to discuss the charts but Kendrick fans have always said that it is embarrassing, a no-life activity and that they are above it. So why have they been doing it non-stop for over a week now?
To try to annoy those people who have genuine interest in that, or because they suddenly care about the charts once their favorite artist has managed to get decent numbers?
You lose either way, no matter what the answer is. Kendrick fans have exposed themselves badly.
