serenadesay what you want about the newer generation, they're a lot more thoughtful when it comes to music than the ones that came before them. if millennials were still the tastemakers we'd be talking about how family matters won the beef because it had the most quirky meme lines and IG caption worthy lines. to this day it makes me shudder to think that back to back actually has a legacy as an all time great diss song because standards were so low in 2015 lol.
Okay this is not true at all. Back to Back was a nuke, we’re not about to rewrite history just because Kendrick mopped the floor with him right now.
I will say though, the rest of Drake’s diss catalog is pretty weak and people overrate his “battle tested”-ness off of B2B alone
