I think an interesting thing this beef shined a spotlight on was how much social media dictates people's perceptions of how things are really going down.

When Euphoria dropped we genuinely had people using their Twitter timelines (that is explicitly curated to bring you the sort of content that you want to interact with, engage and see) as some sort of objective evidence that their view/opinion was the correct one, because their timeline just reinforced the way they were thinking which is crazy.

And honestly the fallout of this exact thing is still playing out with how many Drake fans are just still in denial about the entire thing or even trying to completely shift the narrative to Drake was never going to be able to win anyways because he's hated and Kendrick is the media golden boy. In spite of Kendrick not playing any sort of media games throughout the entire beef, let alone texting streamers.
