i think he's calling kendrick a hypocrite for hating on rappers with ghostwriters and then writing jay rock's verse. which isn't a totally unfair point, especially considering kendrick has ghostwritten a lot of songs for jay rock, Q, and baby keem.

it's very funny though, he wanted to call kendrick out for having ghostwriters but he had to settle for the much less effective "you have ghostwritten songs for your friends and your cousin" angle, essentially complimenting his elite pen in the process.

yeah i saw that, he changed his angle after getting called out

like on its face i sort of agree, it is hypocritical to call out rappers with ghostwriters and then become TDE's main ghostwriter, but at the same time we all know it's a drake sub and the implied meaning is supposed to be "this guy can't be better than me when i write my own songs and he doesn't". you have to be operating at a certain level of disingenuousness in order to pretend otherwise.
