Cope. Your favorite rapper - whoever it is - has gotten at least a little bit of help in his writing. It's that simple.

Also goes to the the older rappers. Some kids in here name rappers from the early 00s not having s*** leaked even tho they know that it's impossible for that to happen lmao

How about you back it up with proof instead of making generalized statements

U fool, how many times have I said, Drake made the V1, and Vory is just a take v3 or v4,
Vory is singing off sumn he heard already

    U don’t make music u not understanding
Go make a song on bandlab and u will understand
If not shut up and stop causing confusion

    Don’t be this dumb guys.

Every rapper has gotten some kind of help or input

    No rapper

    No artist

No one has written everything 100% by themselves. And that’s fine, even in rap

It’s when it’s whole ass songs and pretending you’re doing it by yourself is the problem

Everyone brings up Kanye. Kanye use to write. Kanye can still write when he’s not lazy

The difference is Kanye isn’t hiding it. He’s 100% honest and that’s key

Drake isn't dishonest about his process: he has said people write for him in interviews, credits them in the liner notes, i dont know what more people want

the debate about him being a top MC while being open about writers is a different conversation

it's painfully, painfully obvious that the day we get the Diplomatic Immunity, Stories about my Brother, 3am in Toronto, 5am in Dallas, reference track, then it's a wrap for him

until then, it doesnt matter that Vory wrote something on Mob Ties, when Drake wrote the entitreity of 30 Hours, literally drake writing that 80 bar verse or whatever undoes all the reference track controversy, a painful pill to swallow for everyone in here obviously

Or maybe they mean just the hook like the part that Pharrell sings that would make sense to be prepackaged with the beat lol

It says that Fabolous is the one rapping it on the preview though

And actually just having that one part doesn’t make sense, it would make sense to have some kind of build up to that with a basic prechorus structure

You speaking on a bunch of ifs though Zack. Not everybody's favorite rapper has their references just out and about for the world to see. So now you make the argument about absence of evidence not being evidence of absence and that's whack asf because you putting dirt on other rappers jackets all just to cape for ya manz

looking into loyalty, and apparently the DJ dahi part was written by kendrick. dahi came up with the melody and kendrick wrote the lyrics for him to sing.

    5:16

there are also recordings of kendrick coming up with rihanna's part of the hook and him rapping rihanna's part on the first verse. so it seems like the song was 100% written by kendrick.

@SignedTwice so what’s the narrative flip if/when we confirm that Fab’s Alright dates to 2014?

That’s not a reference track lol You seriously think Fab gave alright to Kendrick??

“I f*** with the mob cause I got ties”

No f***ing way anybody can write from this perspective without going through it

Tbh we don’t know any of these people. We can speculate but who knows. Im sure a lot of musicians who have a gangster persona are more image based, a lot of seemingly squeaky clean musicians are running away from something.
