I think Drake wrote Pushe Ups and some of Family Matters in one setting, but then he went back and change almost the whole first part of Family Matters after Euphoria dropped.
The intro to Family Matters was definitely written after Euphoria.I think the middle part was written before Euphoria, not long after Push Ups dropped.

Yeah it’s not just the rewriting but the re-recording, mixing, and second guessing whether what you just did was quality or not.
With Drake specifically he had to rewrite, re-record, mix and master, and have the new lyrics edited and timed into the Family Matter video since it also serves a timed lyric video. All that in 2 days is wild. Sucks for him that MTG stepped over all that work in 20 minutes tho
