am i the only one having trouble revisiting Drake’s “real hip hop” songs after this beef?

not as much the classic AM/PM stuff from last decade, i’m solely referring to the middle of the ocean, scary hours/underwater 40 type beats where he raps about luxury and chubbs’ guns for 5 minutes on end. something about it just feels so…’fake-elite MC’ now if that makes sense

It’s funny how Kendrick warned this nigga on Euphoria not to speak on his family or he was going to take the minor angle with “you make music that pacify 'em. I can double down on that line, but spare you this time.” Then warned him again at the end with “if you take it there, I’m taking it further.”

And Drake heard it and still chose to hop out with allegations about his family. And taunting him about it. “You tell me what I shouldn't say, but f*** it, my nigga, it's already done.”

Nigga isn’t calculated at all. He was given a chance to keep all the crazy allegations out of the beef and just rap at each other and basically said f*** that. Now every Drake related comment section is full of pedo comments.
