I think back then people assumed that the chaos was planned and was some genius marketing move, but Kanye under all that pressure was really just have a breakdown.

1000% agree. TLOP was the first time in my opinion that he made an album for hype because he probably felt he wasn’t as hot as he was after Yeezus. Which is why he enlisted Metro and A$AP to help him find a way to “reach the kids” and this would be the formula for all of his projects after that.
