Yall got tricked into thinking sales meant he was the top rapper in the game or was carrying hip hop on his back.
Justin's breathalyzer numbers didn't
Molly Coke poppers not coming up on no breathalyzer it’s in the eyes Chico
Also you can easily argue Kanye was more culturally relevant than Drake even if Drakes music was bigger
What years tho?
Shes part of the problem kendrick was alluding to but yeah
Bobbi not no colonizer because she does a character on a podcast that no one forces anyone to watch
She doesn’t Claim or pretend to be anything and it’s known her best friends are music video women
Running the game was never about sales. Sure, sometimes they went hand in hand but it was never just that. Drake fans never quite understood that.
There’s a reason Drake had to step into Metro and Futures world on WATTBA and they didn’t have to go into his

Damn
https://twitter.com/PopBase/status/1804400724698370512These rappers can’t make their own cultural hits?
Yeah DJ’s still spin gold digger, can’t tell me nothing and niggas in Paris, doesn’t mean Kanye is a king pin in HipHop anymore. He’s just ordinary Kanye who might drop now and then and cause a spike in interaction, but mostly people are indifferent to his activities, and it fizzled out quick. You Can say the same about EM.
I’m not saying he has been R Kelly’d and blackballed from everything, he’s just no longer the face of the genre or HipHop culture. His numbers will start looking a lot more ordinary, shall we say.
Yall can’t compare drake falloff to ye and yall know I enjoy ye for what he is a human being but it’s not comparable man . Ye offended more various groups than drake
These rappers can’t make their own cultural hits?
Everyone seeing the clout dissing Drake can bring you

!https://youtu.be/FIwxIobtab4?si=BAd79p1LVY3iWUFBReminds me of the pandemic when the versuz s*** was happening you had Drake fans going on Wikipedia looking up peak chart positions to see what songs would win.
!

Him being the most popular doesn't mean he was carrying the genre lol. Also thats when the new era came out like Uzi, kodak, 21 and xxxtentation
What a delusional post.
Look deep into your heart and tell me that you honestly believe Drake isn’t the dominant cultural force in rap over the last 14 years
I don't think so, especially not in the last 5 years. But I don't think there's one cultural force that can be singled out in hip hop in the last 2 decades anyway. I can't think of one thing that Drake stands for and truly represents. I think that's an important aspect of being a "cultural force" but I don't wanna hate cause his run from 2013-2015 was incredible to witness.
400k first week still pretty darn good but ya let's down play it for the likes
Yeah Drake ordinary AF now.
Them superpowers really got neutrelized. Forget him going down to Beyonce level hed be lucky to be on Uzi’s.
Until stand faces criminal charges or says something truly abhorrent outside of a song he isn’t going anywhere or remotely comparable to ye so never make that comparison again it’s just factually wrong
Now, they're trying to erase the last 15 years of Drake's dominance and impact on the game
Now, they're trying to erase the last 15 years of Drake's dominance and impact on the game
Drake has been a huge force
In pop music
He was but using the numbers to back that dominance up doesn’t work because of his crossover ability. Like if we talking about the biggest runs in rap and u bring up “One dance” and “Hold on we’re going home” it doesn’t really make sense.
Most of Drake's hits are rap hits.
What a delusional post.
How has drake been contributing to the game creatively to you post 2016? Geninue question I want your perspective
