Every other artist takes 2-3 years to drop. Even now.

Why because Drake drops every 6 months, it became the standard?

Especially when everyone was in Agreement his music became really bad because of it.

    Drake is call of duty

    BIG BOSS KINO

    Exactly

That song was an offer of 'okay, okay, alright! There IS a big 3 after all these years I denied it and subbed but look whose song it is that united the big 3 and who stands on top after that'

It would surely be Drake. That was the move and it backfired HORRENDOUSLY on him

Kendrick was never gonna be on a song where Drake was comparing himself to Michael Jackson. Trap Lore Zack doesn’t understand why that record was never happening.

Drake is the one who started the sneak dissing between them after Control and went on a show that was going to be nationally televised talking s***. The beef doesn’t have to be over because one nigga is trying to peace treaty s*** lol

    Even now is crazy.

Drake used to take his time with his verses. But he was trying to keep up with atlanta rappers / the industry when it comes to song creation and that is how we got ghostwriters etc.

You cant help but laugh because you know something can serve the largest audience and not be the best anything

Mcdonalds has served a billion but the consumption of it has lead to massive health issues for many......

Mcdonalds can say its the best restaurant but it also serves the pharamaceutical industry

drake is the same in many regards he serves different industries

  • BonelessWings

I dont even want that type of record! I just want a 30 for 30 type song from a losing perspective which the nigga is too arrogant for to do.

That s*** would be so fire.

He's so far removed from his 30 for 30 days now smh. Ah well, it was a moment

Yeah but every year a new nigga discovers 2k and thinks its the best game in the world until they grow up.

game marketing and marketing for all art has dived much deeper into social programming than when we were younger and would see tv ads or magazine ads

I used to have to try games in store to be sure or read a well written preview

now they can basically beam that you will love a game into your head lol

The same all applies to music even more so

they can use algorithms to tell you listening to drake will make you look cooler to buy nocta to buy yeezy to do whatever they desire it is is that you do

not just limited to the radio but what dsps promote what twitter shows you its all a feedback loop

so any time an independent artist in anyway breaks that loop thats a problem for those in power the same way you see baldurs gate win game of the year and geoff like "aight stop talking wrap it up"

Exactly. Suddenly, dot is being "childish" because the nigga who was being a b**** about things in the first place wants to "bring everyone together"?

Atlanta rappers don’t tend to sell that well because they drop so often.

Fast food music does not cultivate a strong following outside of very very few and specific cases.

Even then, the likes of Future and Metro are struggling to sellout a tour off the back of the best promo they could have ever hoped for.
