Yeah Drake is not that popular under Gen Z comparatively. Of course, they listen to him because his music is just everywhere but they aren't really fans like that.
I know a couple Gen Z Ye fans and especially Travis has an insane following. I think somewhere along the line Drake realised that. Hence, him trying to change his image for FATD and releasing those rage beat type songs.

Where’s this revisionist history coming from?
Not saying SH3 is liquid swords or illmatic but the general consensus (even on sites that hate him like Reddit and X) was that it is some of his best rapping in years
The only legit criticism is if you don’t like the unbothered “dear diary” flow
Even by his own accord he made SH3 in under a week, imagine what he does with his back against the all in ~ 6 months to a year
