serenade21 was just not built to last this long, he's a one trick pony who is still a B-lister because of the culture's inability to move past the mid 2010s. that's not really a knock against him, he has made some really good songs, but i never get excited to hear him these days because he has been content doing the exact same thing.

uzi would be in a completely different position, culturally speaking, if carti was willing to lend him some aura. the closest he's come to getting a carti feature put out this decade, it was pulled the day of release.
