Philly rappers hate on each other too much.
Unfortunately. A lot of niggas here don’t like seeing the next man do better than em
But it’s not even about that fr. We just lost our sound/identity. I mean our club scene is cool but we’re known for having spitters, ngl Uzi f***ed up our identity a ton by sounding like them ATL niggas.
This ain’t weird to yall for dude to just be out and about like this?
Doesn’t Cole have a family to tend to for him to just be roaming the streets lonely like this?
Is he still married?
Real question is why he shaking niggas hands with his left hand lol

prime state property ……crazy
If Uzi made more records like Just Wanna Rock, his legacy would def be solidified here. But he’s an idiot
prime state property ……crazy
Them and DVD rappers had the streets on lock. What happened to the game I loved
I’m like 99% certain he was with a fan on the beach. I didn’t see anything saying he was with his wife
That's a possibility. When I saw it the caption said it was his girl. That could have been false I suppose

No you're not really humble
You're actually Haram

I don't even associate Uzi with Philly. Even though I was on to him pretty early, he just doesn't have Philly in him really and I don't think he really claims it from what I see. Besides that jersey club song he had his sound hasn't really reflected Philly since he blew up
And nobody underground in Philly is trying to be in that lane, unless I'm missing somebody

reed dollaz was a prodigy , cassidy could of had philadelphia like cam had harlem but i felt like his ego wouldnt have let him

Man that’s literally what made Just Wanna Rock an iconic record here.
It’s Philly AS F***. From the first bar in the first verse (1600 block, I just wanna rock) to his flow (pays homage to 2Rare and them) to the dance moves. That’s US. It pains me so bad to see him not fully embrace that sound. It’s legit what made the city’s culture so special in the late 2000s/early 2010s

Like I’m actually getting upset typing this lmao. Just think about the impact Uzi would have if he went that route, all these youngbouls here would be on some positive chill s*** rather than this Detroit Drill d***eating wave niggas are on. I’m rambling atp but yeah it’s frustrating af
EDIT: tryna be in what lane? Spitters or club lane?

You know ball
Meek was anyboul back then. Yeah by Flamerz we knew he would be something special but nobody pictured him to be the rapper he is now
Meek was positioned to be to Philly what Kendrick is to LA smh
Yes dude. I always thought Meek Mill was someone who was gonna be big back in 2011-2012. Meek had the bangers and he could do songs like Amen and s***.

I think nobody in Philly is really trying to be in Uzi's lane, so it's not like he shaped a new sound or anything (here specifically, he definitely helped start a wave in general). Like even if he did his own sound I would associate him more with this city if more rappers followed his path
I don't mean that as hate either. As much as I want Philly to be better represented in modern rap, I can't hate Uzi doing what he's doing and being successful at it

Meek and Kendrick were definitely on the same trajectory in 2011/2012. Meek literally just crashed out

Dude yeah. Meek Mill had something special. It saddens me to look at him now.

Didn’t know, my fault for attempting to kick knowledge
you probably thinking “I know all this s*** dawg” 😂 but yeah bro it’s unfortunate, it’s why Uzi’ll never be a Philly GOAT to me. I’m happy for his success but I just hate what he represents
no funny s*** but how is this not considered fan fiction?
When a lie is told
