Charleston white defense is very on brand for Drake fans. You can tell they have an underlying disdain for ”hood” black people and it seeps through their irony. At the same time they hyper focus on what’s played in the hood because they’re envious of those people.
The hood got love for Drake. Or at least they have when he links up with artists from the hood. Which I guess is Kendrick’s point

This is why I say Cole’s career is ruined. Drake’s career is just changed. Drake is down to be as reckless as possible. He has nothing to lose and has enough money and a diverse enough catalog to just triple down on bullshit.

Oh I’m talking about grown niggas, I’m saying I don’t think it’s necessary for him to do that to reach children.
