If you don’t think Sexy Redd on that hook is women’s favorite part on that song then idk what to say
I’m talking about the whole conversation yall act like Drake isn’t a hit maker himself. He’s not f***ing Travis relying on features
Obviously features help but Drake is also Drake
You know what I mean
Not really. Did the attention help boost up the popularity of the song? Sure same s*** that happened with Back 2 Back. Both were hits though because they were well made and catchy. Not because they were disses alone.

It’s a bop for sure but it reached these amazing heights becuase it’s a kill shot against the biggest rapper of all time
You could play pretend/what if like this about meet the graham's but not like us woulda been huge drake or no drake, that's how undeniable banger hits work
That's the sad part. He didn't need to diss to make a hit so why center this part of his legacy around drake? It's why people say he's jealous

Can’t discredit what it did
It’s an amazing feat. Drake finally met his match when it came to that sort of thing.
Don't see what that got to do with that song being big in 2023? Completely normal that a year old song isnt pulling huge numbers a year later. Most of the hits released last year aint doing that.
Wrong. All of the top songs on Billboard’s Year-End 2023 list are pulling in near a million streams currently.
Creepin, which released in 2022, is still pulling in 900K daily streams, compared to Search & Rescue pulling in only 220K
Kill Bill, which released in 2022, is pulling in 2 million daily streams currently, compared to Search & Rescue’s 220K

Cuz it's the game over card, my disses on a monster hit so you gonna hear it everywhere you go, fans singing lyrics going at you
Weird stance for you to take cuz back to back did the exact same thing
drake not only forced kendrick to move back to LA and be a father - but also got him giving back to the city! 👏👏

When did he got at Eminem?
Family Matters was definitely a hit!

Show me the last hit released during the streaming era that was 8 minutes long. (someone else tried and couldnt find a song btw)

They’ve been dissing each other for over 10 years which Drake started lol
And Drake had dissed him last before Like That. It was time.
When did he got at Eminem?
Just follow me right

The dude ITT called it a hit. You’re agreeing with me that it isn’t
*ever
Time will tell, not a crazy claim to make maybe in like 5-10 years
That's the sad part. He didn't need to diss to make a hit so why center this part of his legacy around drake? It's why people say he's jealous
Why wouldn’t he drop a catchy Drake diss song and let Family Matters breathe? His legacy is more than just beating Drake, the same way Drakes legacy is more than just losing to Pusha T and Kendrick.

Again why he so obsessed with drake? Jealousy?
And back to back was different he didn't go at meek first like kendrick did AND he was actually dropping hotline bling (hits) with those disses
The fact that b2b was a hit changes all yall arguments itt on whats a hit and what's not tho

We appreciate drakes efforts!

Don’t be slick about it
They been subbing each other for years prior. Kendrick was the first to be direct and Drake was the first to escalate it.
The only ones who don’t like seeing Kendrick outside enjoying his success and bringing the west coast together are Drake fans, that’s it. No one else thinks he’s jealous.
Drake is light skinned
lock him up
