i told this story on KTT before but when I was in Tokyo I had Gen Z japanese kids running down on me asking me if I listened to KendrickYeah, I think Kendrick was even a headliner over there more than once.
Kanye was popular too when I visited Japan last year. But I didn't see any Drake getting played.

Even did sold out shows in some not so majour cities.
Even numbers wise Kendrick’s East Asian and African market is stronger than Drakes.

It’s this continual underestimation of Kendricks star power that lost Drake the beef and will make him continue to lose it.
The only market of people who know Drake more than Kendrick are radio listeners / children (well children definitely know Kendrick now).
