He’s gotta let his ego go, we know he won’t, but he really should, and just go neutral, apolitical dance music like HN. I like HN bc for the past few rap albums ive gotten very bored of the drake lifestyle raps, abt luxury and fake women and fake friends. HN he showed a genuine interest in actual music for the first time in a while n it worked so well.

HN was dedicated to Virgil. drake has been a fan of SA house for a long time but Virgil is the reason we got to hear a full album exec produced by black coffee.

i am very curious to see what a Drake passion project would sound like. idk if he should go fully neutral tho, i dont think that's rly necessary.

the doctor got popped for essentially being a yes man

mike went doctor shopping to see who would prescribe him a borderline lethal amount sleeping medication and anxiety/pain medication without push back in exchange for im assuming a massive salary

so could be alluding to drakes downfall/demise being the yes men he has on payroll that dont necessarily care about him

yeah but then why would he say drake should ask himself what mike did? that means he's saying drake should do what mike did which was what? find himself a yes-man doctor that got him killed? like idk maybe thats what kendrick was going for but it's realllly clunky. and the doctor conspiracy theory is a pretty deep cut too.

ur interpretation would make a lot more sense if Mike actually cut off his doctor before it killed him.
