The townships. Khayelitsha and that side of the city. Gang infested areas like Mitchells Plain, Manenburg, Delft

Basically stick to northern suburbs (white areas like Durbanville, certain parts of Bellville etc), beaches or the CBD and you should be good. Paarl/Stellenbosch and the Winelands areas further north are also good but that's barely Cape Town anymore

The thing is, there really isn't much distance separating some areas. A few wrong turns and you could end up going from a really posh area to an absolutely f***ed up area. And even the posh/safe areas have instances of some really f***ed up s*** happening

Grew up in the Northern suburbs, one of my old lady neighbors across the street got murdered in her house. They saw her get money at an ATM in a mall nearby and followed her home and killed her. Think I had another neighbor get killed a couple of streets away from me
