Get past megumi sukuna and if you think it isn't the best animation and one of the best stories you seen (JJK 0 and season 2 specifically cuz shibuya is the best arc in anime) then by all means go back to chainsaw. And chainsaw was not hype since ep1 s*** was boring af but got good tbh. Ngl kaiju no. 8 has actually been lit if we talking good new ones.
But yeah jjk is goated your nuts lol. Even the next main story with ittadori and his one friend he meets and I'm not even gonna say more cuz of how fkn amazing it is and I don't wanna spoil lol

How much do I have to watch to get to megumi sukuna?
I do like how under-powered the main character is, and Im getting the vibe he'll continue to be the weakest person in the room throughout the series; helps keep characters grounded, and avoids the god-like power scaling trap that plagues every shonen I watch.
Chainsaw man did take a couple episodes to get hype, but it immediately had a distinct vibe and identity. JJK feels like it's taking a while to come into itself.
Ill give it another shot though.
