It hasn't aged like milk actually, especially when you compare to them other hits of the era. Ass is a good time capsule but not timeless like No Hands by Waka

AbyssMy last posts make me sound like a Sean fan but I am really not. Only liked the song with Wayne on Detroit 2 and no album of his was ever in my rotation.
I was just going off the hype he once had. He could have build upon it and kept the momentum going. Thats all.
Dark Sky Paradise momentum needed an equal follow up and he unfortunately didn't deliver, plus he was stretching himself in every direction at some point (pause), when he had that joint album with Jhene

I've been seeing more and more people getting nostalgic for that early 2010s era. Wouldn't be surprised if that sound makes a comeback in the next 5 years or so

i was a hypebeast so big sean was my favorite for like 12 months during the Finally Famous 3 era but we are really overstating his position in the 2010s
he didnt een see the heights Meek Mill saw and he’s basically a joke now

Somewhat but it usually mixes with more modern production style. Like Drake with Dipset or the Early Pharrell production on that Tommy Richman song
