I don't even think he needs to drop every year at this stage of his career. But an album every 2/3 years isn't too much to ask for. Taking 5 years isn't ideal because these niggas are damn near 40 already lol. Won't be long till they're all pushing 50.

Deffo plays a part but he has stated multiple times in his career that touring is a big part for him.
He was headlining ALOT of festivals in 2020 before lockdown hit, so he had an album ready to go then, cos he was finished with the DAMN. era
