Every artist drops when they want and when they're ready, regardless of what fans say. It's cool if Kendrick wants to take 5 years off to drop a new album at this stage of his career but what I don't like is when people spin that to make it seem like his peers who are more consistent are dropping trash or are inferior because they've managed to keep up pace while he hasn't.

With the recent work they’re dropping I completely understand why Kendrick doesn’t even wanna be mentioned as the same sentence as those guys. It’s more of a diss to say he stands next to them than it is anything else

Yea it goes both ways some try to defend too hard also. There's a fine line between inclusion and pedestalization imo but people seem to walk it ok. That's what 0 irl socialization does to an mf seems like

This is true but on worldwide steppers when he said he had writers block for two years. Morale released in 2022, so that means from 2018-2020 he wasnt suffering with it, hence why its fair to assume he had an album to go in 2020
