It didn’t meet expectations, it was supposed to be Illmatic tier and basically what gkmc ended up being but it was okay. Great raps and a few records that still live

I heard Nobodys Perfect outside last summer multiple times and it was an immaculate vibe. You grading on a slanted curve if you think that’s a bad album. Its in the middle just like the off season.
The off season might offend a certain type of hip hop listener less, and the rapping is better, but it doesn’t have the records that Cole World has as far as overall songwriting and even production. Off season is safe and slightly forgettable in comparison.
Nas fans/backpack fans just ain’t want Cole to do pop rap records but for what it is it’s a decent pop rap album easily.
