kind of a double-edged sword though.
Drake being on tour feels kind of irrelevant in the face of his past exchange with meek. the takeaway is that he's smart for not rushing to the studio to record, is all.
The problem of course is that he suffers from rap beef rules that he instigated by not immediately putting out a response.
and while kendricks diss wasn't anything special to you, the song is still huge and is getting a lot of play. sure, drake could wait out the tidal wave, but he can't do that forever without a proper response. there's also part 2 of the diss's album dropping, like, this week and who knows what's going to be on it. If it's another bomb then far too early isn't what I'd call this.

Well my main point is that Kendrick said nothing that requires an immediate response on a full track aimed at him. What lines from Like That do you think are so, so bad that he has to hop in the booth and release something within a few days? I've always said he has to respond in some way whenever he is dropping something where it fits in
