And drake does write r&b too, he just collaborates. But it would be silly to think he didn’t write a lot of the r&b stuff on FATD
At his core he’s a post Hov rap lyricist and a 90s r&b singer/writer, and evolved to be able to the trap stuff himself over time too, but he gets help and collaborations to keep updating his style
I think he was really careful from the QM thing all the way up until Yachty to prove himself. He been writing damn near everything after that imo. It’s still somewhat of an asterisk but we got Kendrick doing the same thing for N95 so idk
