This what I was gonna use for the OP
By now we've all heard 30 for 30 and have had our theories about who Drake talking about. I've heard Meek, Jay, Diddy, even Kanye so I thought let me just give my little breakdown of a couple of bars.
"Never thought I'd be talking from this perspective
But I'm not really sure what else you expected
When the higher-ups have all come together as a collective
With conspiracies to end my run and send me a message
40, did you get the message?
Cause I just checked my phone and I didn't get it
I mean, I say hats off for a solid effort
But we didn't flinch for a second, we got our s*** together"
These lines are about Jay Z, Tidal, and Meek. We all saw the Tidal promotion. Jay brought together all the biggest artists together or "the higher ups" to talk about streaming and artists not getting paid what they should off it. How is this exactly trying to end Drakes run tho? I think the bulk of that lands on to Jay Z. This is where Meek comes in, I feel like maybe Jay or just someone connected to Jay but the idea in Meeks head that he could take out Drake why the information he had. That might be a bit of a reach but no one really compares Meek to Drake ever so I can only see someone who Meek really respect being able to put the battery in his back and have him go at Drake.
"Yeah, not here to fight wars
But ** wanna talk high scores
PARTY just dipped off in a white Porsche
And I just came from dinner where I ate some well done seared scallops that were to die for
But I got bigger fish to fry
I'm talking bigger s*** than you and I
Kids'll lose their lives, got me scared of losing mine
And if I hold my tongue about it, I get crucified
Back in the city, s*** is getting brutal
These kids'll hit your noodle then take a girl to the movies
They've been dropping out on both sides
We ain't in it, we just ghost ride"
Now I can really only see this being about Meek. The last line is similar to the line in Charged Up about people being killed by police. This is Drake telling people he's really not thinking about the success as much as it seems he just has to flex sometimes to remind people where he's at and that he's not the one to f*** with right now. I also think he wanted to use the word "noodle" because during the Joe and Meek Twitter "beef" Meek was calling Joe a noodle.
"The pen is working if you ** need some ghost lines
I thought you wanted yours like I want mine
I guess you just making moves on your own time
But just know it'll be January in no time
And your absence is very concerning
It's like you went on vacation with no plan of returning
S*** is purely for sport, I need it 30 for 30
Banners are ready in case we need to retire your jersey"
The first line is Meek but then it goes into lines for Jay completely. The ghostwriting bars is to poke fun at Meek for thinking that was enough to stop him and making it seem like Meek only brought it up out jealously. The making moves on your own time could be reference Meek taking so long to make his diss but also goes to Jay taking longer than he has recently to drop an album.
American Gangster - 2007
Blueprint 3 - 2009
Watch The Throne - 2011
MCHG - 2013
For a while now every other year Jay drops an album January coming in no time and Jay still hasn't dropped an album. So what's going on his absence is a little concerning he seemed to be on a bit of a schedule. At the same time tho Drake shows respect by saying he'll be remembered if he needs to retire so it's very tongue in cheek.
"Used to get no reaction, now I'm overreacting
Ah *, that s*** gotta go platinum"
Charged Up and Back To Back before Meek even had a chance to diss him.
"Rookie season, I would've never thought this was coming
They knees give out and they passing to you all of a sudden
Now you the one getting buckets
They put their arm around you, now you becoming the crutches"
Another one for Jay and maybe one for Diddy. Jay hit Drake with that stamp on Light Up gave him advice and everything basically passing that torch but still playing. Drake has taken over and like he mentioned before Jay isn't at his best anymore either example would be his verse on Pound Cake compare to Drakes verses. This could also be a line for Diddy about the 0-100 situation. Diddy passed the song to Drake so he could write it for him.
"The haters just bringing me and my people closer, actually
What happened to the things you ** said was supposed to happen? Are we just supposed to ignore the fact that it never happened?"
In the Fader interview Drake mentioned how his hit up at a kickball game about Meeks tweets. After the game they got together in the studio to watch how things were playing out and prepare for the beef.
"6 G-O-D, I think I was destined for this s*** when I was 'round Keyshia Cole and T.I
And Young Dro was popping off, well ain't I?
Way before ** had they hands out like they doing macarena
But who am I to complain now, I'm still around, they know"
I think he wanted to mention T.I. simply to make another reference to the beef and one of the people in it. He did it a few times through out the tape. The Summer P line is another example, Summer P is DJ Dramas ex.
Maybe I reached on a few but yeah these are a couple of thought that came to me after sitting with 30 for 30. /QUOTE shout out Unkown member on og ktt
30 for 30
《American Gangster》- 2007
《Blueprint 3》- 2009
《Watch The Throne》- 2011
《MCHG》- 2013
Charged Up和Back To Back在Meek甚至有机会diss他之前就发布了。
"新秀赛季,我从未想到这会发生
他们的膝盖弯曲,突然传给你
现在你是得分王
他们把胳膊搭在你肩上,现在你变成了拐杖"
又是关于Jay,也许还有Diddy。Jay在Light Up中给Drake打了那个标签,给了他建议等等

It's possible but I don't think it's likely.
Drake tried to put him in check. He hinted at all this inside info he has and warned him "this ain't even everything I know don't wake the demon up," to try and scare Kendrick.
But then he name dropped Whitney. So if Kendrick doesn't respond he'll look even worse than J.Cole. That's why I think Kenny will try to aim for the kill on the next one, but maybe hold off on a bigger nuke for later. It's a delicate ting
“Look even worse than J Cole”. Lmaooo

ok boomer
Idk man you really could make a case that this entire thing is manifesting because of the Pusha T situation. This is Drake’s only opponent that could realistically help change the narrative for his overall battles imo. That one hurt him badly and I think that’s why he put all the pieces in place in the background and was basically chomping at the bit waiting for this moment (probably not expecting everyone to jump out but w/e). He knows he needs this lol
100% he needs this but Drake could’ve kinda ignored Like That, just give a couple subs as replies, and it’s not like anyone would’ve acted like it’s Pusha v2 for him.
Drake been putting pieces because Kendrick (and Drake) have been subbing for years and years, they were always gonna have to be prepared for this. I don’t think with either Drake or Kendrick losing is an option or on their mind.
Drake definitely needs this though, the confidence must come from something doubt it’s just to save face.

Drake has more to gain for sure, but more to lose as well.
I know this is prolly gonna be super unpopular, but Kendrick will survive if he loses to Drake, I don't think Drake survives at all if he loses to Kendrick.
I don't mean their careers tho - this beef won't make a dent to either of them commercially. But reputation and legacy wise definitely

2015 was a different time
Mini-essay incoming. TLDR: We're gearing up for what could potentially be the biggest moment in Hip-Hop ever. Legacies built up over nearly two decades are on the line here.
Here’s how I think Round 1 and 2 will play out:
Kendrick will drop a fire diss that does damage. Make no mistake, he’ll aim to kill. Think of it as a mini-nuke. At the very least, he’ll end up drawing blood.
But he won’t overplay his hand.
Drake has signaled he has inside info on Kendrick’s dealings with TDE (50% split) and insight into conversations between Top Dawg and Kendrick.
Sidebar: Yeah, I think the "Top wanna peace it up?" refrain is referring to a conversation Kendrick had with Top after leaving TDE and founding PGLang. It's not about J.Cole, rapgenius got it wrong. Drake's trying to get in Kendrick's head and scare him with the fact that he knows more than he should.
Drake has already signaled he has an extended version of Push Ups with a beat switch that he wants to drop immediately after Kendrick's response.
That's why he keeps posting "🐢" and doxxing (lol) Kendrick's manager. Drizzy never did with this Pusha T or Meek. This nigga is supremely confident right now. Kendrick knows all this, which is why he’ll save the real kill shot for later just in case.
Once Kendrick drops, Drake will drop his nuke and try finish off Kendrick in one swift blow, to the point where he believes Kendrick won’t respond and will be forced to bow out. The same way Push did to him with Adidon. It’s his only real move, but it would be super effective if it works. If he has the dirt he believes he has, it may very well work.
Kendrick knows this, which is why he’s saving his nuke for afterwards. But Drake clearly believes he can shut Kendrick up with his next response, which leaves us at a stalemate. It's anyone's game at that point.
Of course we’ve never seen Kendrick in mainstream beef like other notable rappers, but even if Drake has a nuke (that’ll drop after Kendrick response), I’d be surpsied if Kendrick doesn’t make a second attack , no matter how weak. However the Drake nuke has to be so good that whatever Kendrick says basically doesn’t matter, it’s done. Same way how even if j.cole came out with some amazing diss at Kendrick right now , no one would give a s*** because of his previous apology.
Drakes confidence to me implies that he does have some special nuke. But from Kendrick’s perspective why would he drop a diss (like that) at Drake, if Drake knows something big? Either that or Drakes confidence is just to provide the illusion of having something up his sleeve when he doesn’t. But after the Pusha T and Meek mill situation I don’t see Drake playing anything that way.
Man shut up this what forums is for before yall got brain rotted this is how we talked lol
We can have both

I don't mean their careers tho - this beef won't make a dent to either of them commercially. But reputation and legacy wise definitely
I think he knows that which is why I think he’s put it all in place to at minimum get the last say (which is why I think we have this ambiguous leak situation) or go all the way with it to the point that he’s putting his career on the line for it. That’s why people can feel a way about how certain things have transpired but he had to do everything he didn’t do during the Pusha situation and move strategically rather than emotionally
Imagine listening to this, and not thinking this is one of Drake's best songs he ever made.
Damn who could think this
